Hawkeye Rail Buggies

On this page we find what I believe to be one of the best builders of Rail Buggies. The Hawkeye Buggies
Company is the spirit of successful business.

With over 50 years of combined exsperence, the people of Hawkeye are a great bunch of people to know. I
have known them for at least five years and have followed along on many builds. One thing I find very
good about Hawkeye is that while prices are fair and reasonable, the customer can have Neil build
anything your hearts desire.

One can start with his basic designs and build on that to anything you can imagine. Neil also builds safety
into every buggy. He will not build something that is going to hurt anyone ( good to know when your out
there enjoying your buggy.

As you can see in the picture to the left, the Rails Neil builds have a
complete safety cage. The structural design has rugged features that
not only strengthen the buggy but provides a well layed out design
of form and funtion. This particular noise design is a signature of a
Hawkeye. Nothing is going to get through that front end!

Neil also builds larger family Rails ( as seen in the picture at the right ).
There is plenty of room inside to proviced comfort and protection. You
are not bundled in so tight that you will be bouncing around inside the
cage system. And again style and function flows to provide a pleasing
look to the eyes and maximum fun.

Below is one of my favorite Rail Buggys built by Neil. This one belongs to Nick Decker, Neil's Dad. Nick is
someone you just have to get to know, no better guy to know. Nick is one who also works at Hawkeye. The
Pick Up look is well thought out and this is one great buggy in person. If I was going to own a rail, then I
would want Neil to build me one just like this one.

Neil's Hawkeye Buggies does not just stop at Rail Buggies.
The man can turn you out a rock crawler as well. One special
note, Neil can build you a Rail based on any engine
combination, power source, running gear source, and He can
even do it in two or four wheel design!

And Neil can do you special bumpers or roll cage to your
fiberglass buggy to your specs ( I know, He did those for me
and they were just what I wanted - and no it didn't take a
bunch of trial and error. He did mine from drawinds I supplied
him ( and no they were not a cad design, I don't know how to
do that. He just took my sketches and went from there ).
